My name is Valeria Ricciolino and I am a Senior Design Manager currently working at ISG. I have been in the industry for 12 years, five of which have been spent in architecture as a consultant, and seven in construction and fit out.

I have been working a variety of projects including high end residential, commercial, mixed use and refurbishment.

The variety of the disciplines within the industry itself and the never-ending learning curve that comes with that is what attracted me to join the construction industry.

You might be interested to learn that I am an amateur photographer - and therefore very happy to take part in this project!

My key skills include attention to detail and motivating others.

There are challenges to being a woman in this industry: unconscious biases, gender pay gap, negative perception of the industry, flexible working constraints, inequality.
